The Internet Sends Me Cake

If you send me a cake, I post a link to your work on the internet (both on this site and on twitter). You will be judged solely on your cake rather than your work, which makes this an equal opportunity link site. It is that simple and that awesome (for me and my studiomates). Cakes can be sent to 3009 22nd St, San Francisco, CA 94110. I have a preference for lemon cake with buttercream icing, cakes with fruit in them, or any cake with cream cheese frosting, but by all means be inventive. Cupcakes, pastries, and pies will also be accepted, but anything sent would preferably be handmade. I can buy fancy cakes if I want to, but I want YOUR weird lopsided handmade creation. If you are an out-of-the-country-er and this is not possible or you'd rather not risk fedexing your creation, feel free to bake a cake for your friends, take a picture, and send me your friends' cake assessment and a photo of the cake (along with your url of course) and it will be posted. Also, please know that this was set up with good and silly intentions only, please don't be offended that I like both cake and the internet.

Received this AWESOME (double underline exclaimation point) Cherry Chocolate Cake with Fudge Frosting and Rainbow Sprinkles from the good folks at Daily Diptych today. I’ll tell you what, I’m usually not a chocolate fanatic (I like it but don’t crave it like I do fruity sugary sweets) but this is the best goddamn chocolate cake I have ever eaten. I could eat the whole thing by myself. It is seriously the moistest cake EVER. Ms. Maggie Hudson and Mr. Aaron Capa, tip of the cap to you. You are two effing good bakers. I’m assuming your photography is as awesome and luscious as this cake, so please, everyone, go to their site!! Also, they sent this awesome typewritten note signed by The Internet, so bonus points for hilarity.
